Key Note speaker about wooden roofs

Forum Wood Building Baltic 2019 was an opportunity for practitioners and scientists to meet and exchange experiences and to learn from the best within the field. Nearly 300 participants from 16 countries were present. The conference had a strong focus on moisture safety and building physics in wooden buildings in addition to fire safety, and wooden nearly zero energy buildings. The conference is a part of the international organization Forum Holzbau.

Experience lectures from international speakers was accompanied by an exhibition where different organizations showed their latest products and services. The building industry, designers, researchers and building authorities came together to learn, find inspiration and exchange experiences.

Contact between Tallinn University of Technology in Estonia and the Centre has evolved the last year as a consequence of the PhD-thesis of Lars Gullbrekken and a common interest in moisture safety for wooden buildings.
